Nia is a study in age, gender, fashion, and audacity. Conceived as a conceptual magazine cover, the project challenges conventional representations of visibility and desirability by positioning the older female subject as self-defined, unapologetic, and present.
Through a restrained visual language and deliberate compositional choices, the illustration foregrounds attitude and agency over ornament. Fashion functions as assertion, reinforcing Nia’s refusal to conform to prescribed roles or expectations tied to age or gender.
Designed with editorial clarity and commercial awareness, Nia translates complex social themes into a bold, visually articulate image. Suited to contemporary fashion and lifestyle publications, it offers editors a distinctive asset centered on confidence, autonomy, and presence.

I don’t just draw. I think through problems.
I put together a quick guide on my 5-Phase Design Thinking process—the same one I used for the projects you see here—offering a clear framework for turning complex ideas into focused visual narratives.
